The piano dates to 1892, Hamburg built with the serial number 72738, keyframe also signed and dated as photographed. Ebonised casework with the original parts (non modernised) of late Victorian decorative character with Steinways classic fretwork music stand, double bead mouldings around the lower case rim and the whole raised on substantial circular pillar legs.
