A Hamburg Steinway Model D 274 concert grand piano in an extremely rare mahogany case from 1928. This piano was previously part of the Steinway concert & artist piano bank, used throughout the late 1920s and early 1930s for concerts and undoubtedly played by many top pianists of the era. Only the finest pianos are selected for the concert bank. This piano was fully restored in the early 2000s, which included full restringing, restoration and shimming of the soundboard, repolishing of the case and most importantly, an entire new action received in one piece from Hamburg Steinway.
