A Wilhelm Spaethe boudoir grand piano decorated in a Chinoiserie style art case. An original label dates the piano to 1910, model’Flugel 170′. The piano is a substantially built German overstrung example raised on square tapering legs with a classic art nouveau’sunburst’ music stand. The Chinoiserie hand painted case is in fair condition with age related wear and tear. Some of this is due to sunlight, where loss of definition to some of the work is present such as the top of the lid, whereas the underside front section is in good original order.
