SONOLA Italian Piano Accordion Little Maestro Rivoli? Black w/Case 1950’s? This is a beautiful instrument- black with chrome trimmings. It reeks of Italian quality. As you can see in the images it is in very good cosmetic condition showing only light signs of use and no damage. Please look at all the photos to determine the aesthetic condition. There are a very few light marks here and there- but overall it is very very good- with no signs of damage, drops, cracks, etc. I believe this model is called’Little Maestro’ or perhaps’Rivoli’? I think it is a bit smaller and lighter than many accordions, and made for smaller people- women or children? My guess is that it dates to the 1950’s. I cannot play this instrument- and know next to nothing about them. I strapped it on and as far as I can tell it seems to work perfectly- it makes no sounds unless a key is pressed and every key makes a distinct note. The bellows are very good: no leaks and very good compression. I could not find any key of button that didn’t work. The register buttons all work. Beyond this- I cannot say anymore- as I cannot play accordions and know very little about them. This seems to be ready to go- but may require a service to be it’s best. The leather straps and backing are very fine- not dry or cracked. The case is in good solid shape- a little dusty but solid. Special Note for Cameras and related items.
